Swimming pool and bathing
Fancy aquatic activities? The outdoor swimming pool in Saint-Savin is a stone's throw from the campsite, with several pools including one of 25 m and a pentagliss (rapid slide). Kids love it and adults love it too! Entries from Gassotte Aquatic Centre, at preferential rates on sale at the reception desk.

The Green Way
The Saint Savinoise is an old railway that connected Poitiers to the Whites. It has been converted into a greenway to Fleix, where the terminus of the velorail from Chauvigny is located, and a short tour of which can be an excellent conclusion to this walk.
You will find access to this greenway 200m from the campsite (see page 9 of the PDF).

Circuit "La Vigne aux Moines"
Possibilities of courses from 5 to 35 km.
Along a Gartempe bordered by hilly and wooded plains, this notorious route without difficulty, steeped in a rich history, runs through the municipal territories of Antigny, Nalliers, Saint-Germain and Saint-Savin, and makes it possible to multiply impressions. The traditional rural habitat and the institutional buildings of churches and castles can be seen on the land of Groies, which comes from limestone rocks. View on the map
Circuit "The Carnival of the Cats"
Communes of Antigny, Haims, Jouhet. 9 loops from 1.5 to 11.5 km each.
This trail will allow you to reach "the Chemins de Villesalem" and "Le Gardour". Located at the crossroads of 3 landscape entities representative of Montmorillonnais, "the Carnival of the Cats" will make you discover many environments. The "cold land grove" with its tight plots of polyculture-breeding, delimited by a network of dense hedgerows, shelters the flaying shrike, emblematic species of Montmorillon but also pollinating bees, or the hedgehog whose way of life depends on the hedge. The ‘hilly and wooded plains’ contrast with the bocage on account of their more open agricultural parcels interspersed with more disparate wooded areas and hedgerows. View on the map
Trail "Between heritage and mysterious woods"
This trail takes you between agricultural land and wooded areas. The valley of the Eguillon, coming from the "ègue", the "water" to speak of it locally, takes you through mysterious undergrowths populated by boxwood, giving the strange impression that you may suddenly see elven beings emerge.

Fishing
Notice to amateurs, the Camping du Moulin de Gassotte is ideally located for fishermen: it offers direct and secure access to the Gartempe, 2nd category river. But before indulging in the joys of fishing, you must have your equipment and, of course, a fishing card (map and regulations available at the reception).

Canoeing / Kayaking
From the campsite we offer rental canoes or kayaks ... Whether you are a beginner or confirmed we will have a boat adapted to your level of practice. A pier is at your disposal on the campsite. Paddles, waterproof bag, vest and return by mini bus are included in the service.
The Gartempe lends itself wonderfully to discovery aboard a boat. By canoe or kayak, strolling is available according to your desires, on a walk or in a sports version, alone or with your family.

(30 minutes) The Lathus CPA offers a very accessible acrobatic course with 5 levels online of continuous life (from 3 years). Still remember to book.
