On 1.5 hectares by the river and in the shade of the old watermill, we have 50 pitches in the park, but also three lodges, two mobile tents, three gîtes and stage beds.

Between nature and heritage
Do you want to combine a serene holiday, walks in a preserved setting and the discovery of an extraordinary heritage? You've come to the right place. The Moulin de la Gassotte is located in Saint-Savin sur Gartempe, in the heart of a country labelled ‘Pays d’Art et d’Histoire’.
La Gassotte is the name of the former water mill and its landscaped park, which now houses our estate. Obviously, our pitches are shaded, which should delight lovers of tent accommodation. Those looking for a more cosy holiday will opt for lodges or mobile tents (wooden and canvas) or one of our cottages. We also welcome summer visitors with stage beds.
Discovering exceptional heritage monuments with the world heritage abbey and the valley of frescoes is obvious, but Saint-Savin and its surroundings are full of leisure activities and promises of beautiful walks along the Gartempe River.
